Aurora Park and Forest Park Annual 2022 sub sale May 19, 20, 21, 9-5 All residents are welcome to join the sale.
Street Light Pole Results for Aurora Park Homeowner’s Association:
Ballots were mailed to each homeowner the first part of October 2021 with a solicitation to vote yes or no on adding street lights to our neighborhood to match the lights that Forest Park have. The number of responses needed to meet the quorum requirements of 30% of the homeowner’s was achieved, in fact we reached a 78.16% participation rate. The percentage of affirmative votes necessary to approve the action was a simple majority of the quorum, or 51%. With 68 homeowner’s participating we needed 35 affirmative votes. The final vote count is 38 Yes votes and 30 No votes. Nineteen homeowners did not participate in casting a ballot.
The street light vote has passed. The $156.00 assessment for the first year will show up on the same notice as our annual dues which are mailed out early in 2022.
The APHA board would like to thank everyone who participated for taking the time to vote and make your household’s voice heard. The project will begin in spring or early summer 2022.
